Doing local theology is like preparing local food. Food can be prepared by professionals, or by people who love to cook, or by people who have to cook. But everyone relies on prepared food. We distinguish between edible and inedible. But this distinction is not a sharp one (an authentic Bhutanese meal is so spicy that most Westerners are unable to eat it).
